'Fashion Film Workshop Moscow: backstage (ENG)'

'The first Fashion Film Workshop, organised jointly by British Council and Moscow Film School with media support from Interview Russia, took place in Moscow from 5th until 9th December 2013. Eleven Russian fashion designers, both established and emerging, have teamed up with emerging Russian filmmakers and eleven fashion films were created over five days.   British Council have invited the curator of \"Dressing The Screen: The Rise of Fashion Film\" exhibition and filmmaker Kathryn Ferguson as well as three other renowned filmmakers - Grace Ladoja, Alex Turvey and Marie Shuller of SHOWstudio - to lead the workshop. A public talk and fashion film screening was also organised at Moscow Film School as part of the filmmakers\' visit to Moscow.   British Council have invited journalist and curator of young designers\' competition PREVIEW at Cycles&Seasons by Mastercard Natalia Turovnikova to nominate emerging Russian designers; and curator of fashion film at Mode Vision Week and founder of www.FFdigest.ru Maria Pudan to select invite Russian filmmakers to take part in the workshop.
