'(21 Feb 2021) PAKISTAN FASHION WEEK DRAWS TO A CLOSE WITH FLAMBOYANT DESIGNS Pakistan Fashion Week closed on Sunday (21FEB2021) with flamboyant designs that reflect the bright side the Pakistan society Most of the designers showing on the last days wanted to show hope during the COVID-19 pandemic that has hurt the fashion industry. Designer Hassan Riaz wanted to show happy moments in the collection. \"I am too excited as today I showcase the different collection, he said, adding that \"These bright colors and funky colors right way to promote that, after one year brake, we get back in the fashion, is a most beautiful thing,\" Riaz said. Designer Maheen Khan was also excited for the finale, where she displayed a local handwoven collection of materials she brought from the local market in Karachi. \"I started the initial term called Koya which is to put design intervention into the Banaras Colony (Local area of Karachi) fabric so to make it more current and to make it more inspirational, so I have more fabric today is from Banaras Colony, is from hand woven,\" Khan said. Journalist Zurain Imam also excited to see the collection and models who are on the ramp display colorful embroideries of different designers. \"Today show the second day of finale, I like a Maheen Khan her collection Famlisya, it was very classic,\" Zurain said.
