Mid shot Fashion Week organiser Rizwan Beyg 3. Various, backstage preparations 4. SOUNDBITE (English) Rizwan Beyg, Organizer: \"The significance of doing a fashion week in Pakistan is first of all its about the business of fashion, I mean a lot of people are talking about this being anti-Taliban and I don\'\'t think it has anything to do with that. The idea is not to be reactive but to be proactive and to go ahead and get on with the business of fashion because not only does it involve just the designers but also the entire setups that the designers put up, which is tailors and embroiderers and everybody like that.\" 5. Various, catwalk fashion show 6. Mid shot audience 7.SOUNDBITE (English) Rabia Z, Middle-Eastern fashion designer: \"Just for this collection came up with a very beautiful very unique sort of a accessories, the necklaces are quite long, they are custom jewelry and they are quiet long because the veiled woman can\'\'t really show much wearing the regular accessories. So these are custom made for veiled woman to wear, they are long and trendy. I also do my own scarves, colorful veils, different styles of wearing the veil, and that\'\'s really what my specialty is.\" 8. Various, catwalk show Rabia Z 9. SOUNDBITE (English) Nadia Hussain, Model: \"As far as designers are concerned at least they get to show different collection, it\'\'s a great platform where they don\'\'t have to do solo shows, and spend all that money to do a solo show and they can do it on this platform where they know that the people are going to be there that the press is going to be there, and it\'\'s a collective effort of the (Pakistan Fashion) council, it\'\'s a collective effort of all the designers of all the hair and makeup and the models. It\'\'s actually something,. And this time around we have some buyers coming from abroad as well, buyers right now is not really something that we should bank on, it\'\'s not necessary that any buyer is going to give an order as well but at least the buyers are getting more aware of what our fashion industry is all about and what we are capable of producing. That I think is enough.\" 10. Various, catwalk show 11. Various, final pass of Sana Safinaz line 12. SOUNDBITE (English) VOX POP, Nazia Malik: \"I really enjoyed the show, but I loved the last segment which was Sana Safinaz, I was really looking forward to their collection, which was awesome, amazing, I must say that was really very good. And I was expecting more from the other designers but maybe they are not to that extent, they didn\'\'t meet the expectations, but overall the show was very good.\" 13. Mid shot organizers and audience meeting after the show 14. SOUNDBITE: (English) VOX POP, Atiya Khan: \"Well I thought two of the designers were brilliant, the one who opened and the one who closed, Sana Safi(naz) and Chand (Shakil) Saigol. The rest I was a bit disappointed.\" 15.
