'(2 Apr 2015) PAKISTAN FASHION WEEK DAY 3 Fashion devotees in Pakistan got a taste of Sufi mysticism Thursday (2 APRIL 2015) as designer Yousuf Bashir Qureshi (YBQ) presented his latest fashion collection, \"Laal Shah Mast. \" The collection was inspired by three notable Sufis - Laal Shahbaz Qalandar, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai and Sachal Sarmast, from Sindh province of Pakistan. Three colors ruled the palette. The designer explained, \"The collection I showcased tonight is called Lal Shah Mast, it was inspired by three great Sufis of Sindh, Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, Sachal Sarmast and Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, obviously. We\'re inspired by these three great men, they were the king makers, they still are and they will be. You know that was the silhouette, the red color was for rage, the white was for peace and black was the sorrow, so these were the three colors I depicted.\" While YBQ looked to Sufism for inspiration, designer Naushaba Brohi displayed characteristics of Sindh\'s traditional patchwork to pay tribute to resilient women by showcasing her collection \"Inaaya.\" \"Inaaya is a journey of self discovery, it\'s a journey of empathy, it\'s a journey of collective consciousness and carrying people together, that\'s the ethos of my brand. So bearing that in mind, the collection is labeled after a quote of Pablo Neruda that says you can cut all the flowers but you cannot keep spring from coming. So this is an ode to the strong resilient woman,\" said Naushaba about her designs. Pakistan\'s former Cricket captain, now cricket commentator, Wasim Akram appeared on the runway for international label Levi\'s. The four-day fashion event, Fashion Pakistan Week 2015, ends Friday (3 APRIL 2015).
