'(13 Mar 2019) THREE-DAY PAKISTAN FASHION WEEK KICKS OFF The three-day Fashion Pakistan Week (FPW) has kick-started on Tuesday (12 MARCH 2019) in Karachi with a solo show by Sana Safinaz. The FPW is considered as one of the biggest extravaganzas in which top designers from Pakistan are lined up to showcase their collections until Thursday. The collection named Message from the East was Eastern inspired with Western influence was warmly welcomed by hundreds of fashion enthusiasts across Pakistan. The collection included semi-formal wear with a color palette of bright colors. Bridal pieces were elegant with a mixture of east and west. According to Safinaz Munner of Sana Safinaz, the inspiration of the collection was from the East. She while putting the light on her collection said, \"We have brought our signature style, which is a little bit of Western mix and we have bring in Western aesthetics. If you see the actual show out of all the clothes and there was a very nice balance of East and West.\" Socialites, glitterati and celebrities are expected to rub shoulders with designers and textiles houses through the three-day fashion event.
