'Today I\'ll show you how to edge the items with the net. I’ll show you a dress for a small girl. It’s not edged yet, so I decided to show you how to do it. First we’ll be working with the side seams – with the front and the back separately. We don’t need to change anything, because we’ve already had a fitting. I’ll tell you about the net we use for edging. Do not use tulle. Take only soft, a bit stretching fabric which is not itchy. If you can’t find the needed net, use chiffon or thin cambric. We don’t need to cut the net on the bias. Chiffon and cambric can be cut only at the angle of 45 degrees towards the core thread. We’ll show you how we edge 1 seam. The others we’ll do behind the camera. What is good about the net is that we can just cut the edge. You should cover the edge really tight. There should be no empty spaces. I’ll use the beige net for you to see everything clearly. Don’t rush. The slower you go, the farther you get. I’m showing you a dress for a kid. You can process the women’s tops and blouses this way. The technology is the same. We’ll show you how to edge an arm-hole. We don’t need to fold the edges – just cut them. There shouldn’t be any stitches on the front side.
