'Early June, Marylise invited members of the press and international buyers to the presentation of the 2014 bridal collections at our headquarters in Herentals, Belgium. Creative director Alden Misolas, a former student of the Antwerp Fashion Academy, created \"Les Femmes\", the main collection of Marylise. A collection that\'s glamorous, without being overdone comprises around forty models. There are a few short dresses, but the emphasis is on long gowns. The mermaid silhouette is well represented. But first up is \"Sohistication\" designed by Cephas. A promising designer who was given carte blanche by Marilyse to create a capsule collection of 10 gowns. Cephas created dream gowns in lace and tulle with a modern twist-like the mermaid gown with an androgynous side to it thanks to its detachable shirt collar, or a sexy gown with transparent inserts on the sides, while an asymmetrical gown with double vertical flounce is full of movement. Special details and rich techniques make this capsule collection unique, like handmade silk flowers, a play of pleated and draped tulle, or a detachable long skirt for a two-in-one bridal gown. Marylise impressed everyone with a broad selection of wedding dresses so that every bride can find a gown that will truly reflect the love she will express on her wedding day.'
