'(3 Jan 2012) STARS SHARE THEIR LOVE OF THE FIFTIES LOOK AS SPRING FASHION EMBRACES RETRO CHIC The 1950s revival is spreading - Spring 2012 fashions are full of longer hemlines, fuller skirts and a feminine feel inspired by the decade. Retro chic has been all over the runways, as designers from Louis Vitton to Prada go with \'50s glamor. And Hollywood leading ladies are already lowering their hemlines and going for subtle sexy on the red carpet. Actress Eva Longoria describes her take on the trend. \"I think of great hair. The great falls and the red lipstick and definitely the full skirts,\" the actress says. \"I think it\'s flirty. The \'50s are flirty.\" Reality television star Kristin Cavallari, known for her short, tight skirts, says she will be trying out 1950s chic. \"I think of just very classic, very, you know, pencil skirt dresses. Very covered up and just classy,\" she muses, \"Yeah I will absolutely wear it. I feel like this is pretty covered up for me, maybe,\" she continues, pointing to her demure outfit, \"I\'m headed in the right direction.\" Designer Roksanda Ilincic says the lower \'50s hemline is a look that\'s easy to work. \"I love that silhouette. I think it is very flattering with woman. I also like it with flats. Because some lengths are quite difficult to wear unless you\'re having high heels,\" Ilincic explains,\"That particular length that is just kind of as I said, flattering with a flat shoe, with kitten heels, with high heels. Quite versatile.
