'The Ritu Kumar collection from the AW ’16 season presents an ‘India Contemporary’ collection. This season is a modern and fashion forward representation of Indian prints and styling. The collection comprises varied styles for day wear and formal evening wear, ranging from floor length kurtas, skirts, short jackets and palazzo trousers, to accessories. This range is available in rich winter shades like navy, marsala and deep plums, complemented by lighter pastel shades of pink and blue.  This collection features hand & machine embroidery of the highest quality, and craftsmanship using silhouettes that are structured yet comfortable. This collection largely comprises of natural fabrics such as crepe, silk chanderi, and cotton.  The highlights of the collection include the first Ritu Kumar Solid Kurta range- a closet essentials line highlighting effortlessly elegant yet functional solid kurtas in powerful colours with new twists in classic tailoring.'
