'EPIC RUNWAY MOMENTS: Reacting to Tyra Banks model in the 90s!! There is so much more footage of Tyra\'s runway moments so perhaps I\'ll circle back with a part 2, but this one was a sufficient reminder that Tyra was always that guru! She brought energy and confidence to her runways that made her stand out at a time when women of color were still fighting for visibility at castings for legacy brands. Watching Tyra walk runways for the likes of Calvin Klein, Perry Ellis, Betsey Johnson, and so many more was a great way to give Tyra her flowers.   I like to throw a little shade and make fun jokes, but I am not a celebrity worshipper or basher. My perspective on celebrity pop culture comes from my fascination for extremely talented people.
