'World Fair Trade Week New Delhi 2017 Fashion Show at NIFT, Nov 10th'

'\"Fair Trade Forum of India\" and  \"Hand Crafted in India\" had organized a fashion show commemorating World Fair Trade Week New Delhi  on Nov 10th 2017.  The NEHHDC under the Ministry of DONER, GOI and NHDC under the DC, Handlooms, Ministry of Textile GOI supported the event. The venue is the prestigious National Institute of Fashion Technology, NIFT,  Hauz Khas New Delhi.    Featured here is the second half of the show that includes  Excellency\'s f& Guests of Honor. The segment starts with live performance by vocalist and violonist Sunita Bhuyan and her team on flute, keyboards, tabla and dhol.   Featured to \"O Ganga Behti hey Kyo\" a tribute to legend Bhupen Hazarika is a segment on Indian Handlooms with designs from Benares designer Jay Ramrakhiani.  This is followed by an Indian Ambassadors sequence with Excellencies and their teams from Bulgaria , South Africa, Vietnam and other dignatories and guests of Honour Walking the ramp.  In conclusion a North East sequence to the tune of Bihu hit \" Ganga Siloni:.  The North East sequence features Aagor, a collection of the Bodo tribe and accessories of the North East Handicraft and Handloom Development Corporation.   In conclusion a vote of thanks is shared by the organizers. The show received excellent media coverage as \" Fashion with a Cause\".
